Is there any way to add a future sprint to a task in the currently active sprint?

I'm trying to get a preview of what we expect will roll over into the next sprint, without actually ending the sprint. So I want the sprint field to resemble what it looks like when tasks roll over.

So if it's now sprint 2 and I see this:

Sprint: Sprint 2

Instead of waiting until it rolls over, and then seeing:

Sprint: Sprint 2, Sprint 3

I want to see something like:

Sprint: Sprint 2, Sprint 3 (future sprint)

Then I will be able to filter on Sprint 3 in a global search.

I can replace Sprint 2 with Sprint 3 to get this:

Sprint: Sprint 3 (future sprint)

but can't find a way to just add it instead.

Thanks.

You can't get the display you want, but you can search for "issues that will carry over".  Have a look at the board config and check out what status are in the very last column.

Now search for

Sprint = <current sprint> and Status not in (<all status in last column>)

Thanks, but I am not concerned about the display. What I want is to be able to add a future sprint to the sprint field of a task, so it contains 2 values before rolling over (active sprint, future sprint).

What I want to do is find out from my writers which tasks they think they will roll over to the next sprint, BEFORE they actually roll over at the end of the sprint. So I can start scoping out the workload for the next sprint a few days before it actually starts.
