I would like to know the existing possibilities of connecting these two tools in order to manage requirements in Doors and using requirements data in Jira.
I have not seen any (recent) clear option and I'm open to both developing the integration (using some kind of Doors API ) or using any existing Jira plugin.
Thanks in advance
There are a couple of ways to connect DOORS to JIRA, and how you want to manage the data would determine the best choice. If you want to LINK the data, keeping it separate and referencing as needed, you would need an OSLC connect tool - SodiusWillert's tool is excellent. If you want to copy the data and synchronize it between the tools, ConnectALL's Value Stream Management tool does a great job. In either case, you need to implement the Doors Web Access tool in order to enable the connectivity of DOORS to anything since DOORS is just a client and a database, with no web access (without DWA).
IBM DOORS doesn’t offer straightforward ways to connect with Jira out of the box. There’s no official Atlassian plugin for this and developing something custom using the DOORS API can be complex due to its older architecture and lack of REST support.
You can consider OpsHub Integration Manager, an Atlassian Partner—not because it’s the only option, but because it handles a lot of the groundwork that would otherwise need custom development.
OpsHub supports:
This helps teams avoid manual work, while still getting value from both systems. If your goal is to manage requirements in DOORS but make them actionable for devs in Jira, this kind of setup helps you bridge that gap without building it from scratch.
Hope this helps!

You need an app to do it, I found IBM DOORS connector for Jira on the Marketplace, and I know OpsHub has a way of integrating DOORS with Jira, I looked at that option a couple of years ago.
