In trying to integrate Jira with a calendar (either Calendar for Jira or Google Calendar, for example), I can't find any story fields that allow me to schedule a story for a person for a specific period of time (like from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm, for example), so all stories just show up as all-day events, which makes it impossible to visually see how long each should take. I like to use a week view to schedule to the hour, and this seems impossible with this product as-is.
Any way to get this to work?
Thanks!
Hello @Holly Leary you might need to add some extra date and time custom fields. There is also the date custom field which is the one I suppose you are using and might be causing this behavior. I've used the others in team calendars several times and works fine to set time ranges.
Thanks @Hernan Halabi - Elite IT Consulting Group. I was using due_date and start_date, but I will add a custom date field and see if I can set times as well as dates. I very much appreciate the help.

It worked! You have no idea how much this has helped me. This problem has been an obstacle for me for years. I don't know why I didn't just ask sooner. Thank you so much!
