Issue history doesn't log automatic assignee change

Bruce Cran April 16, 2014

We're running JIRA 6.2.1, and a user noticed that when moving a ticket into a 'test' state, which uses a "Assign the issue to the reporter" post function, the issue history log doesn't show the change of assignee. Is this expected behaviour or a bug?

Check if it still don't show up after full jira reindexing. Probably reindex issue postfunction is misplaced.

As workaround:

Try installing plugin: JIRA Misc Workflow Extensions. And use "Copy Value From Field to Field" postfunction instead (copy field from Reporter to Assignee).

Doing a full reindex didn't help; and there's a "reindex issue" step after the assign to reporter step.
