Are the issue type avatar icons used by jira.atlassian.com available? They look much nicer than the ones that ship with JIRA 6.x.

I don't think they are copyrighted so you can just get them and upload it in your JIRA Installation folder so you can use them for your issue types You can officially ask for approval if you like (support.atlassian.com).
