Is there any way to log in the apache logs the username of the user accessing the server?
Hi @Jiri Pik
The apache logs should be located in your server/file system.
Could you give us more details on why a login is required?
I have two user logs - one from httpd apache and one from tomcat apache (httpd is mod_proxying tomcat).
The httpd apache log has no jira / confluence username and I do enrich these logs with geo information - country, city, etc. The tomcat apache log has the ip address and jira / confluence username but no geo location.
I have checked with the geo location provider and they advised they do not support tomcat server but that I might be able to get the tomcat / jira / confluence username in the httpd logs via mod_remoteip which I cannot see how it applies.
If possible, I would like to have ONE log file with all the audit information, including rejected logins etc.
Is there any magic directive of mod_proxy or some other way I could retrieve the Apache Tomcat / Confluence / Jira username within Apache?
