JIRA add-on local configuration file

Marco Schmelzer July 14, 2014

We have installed "JIRA Subversion Plugin". After the first configuration we got various timeouts.

But the main problem is that if we have a wrong configuration, the add-on cannot be initialized. After a restart of the JIRA service the "JIRA Subversion Plugin" cannot be initialized, too.

So we cannot configure this add-on in JIRA to fix the wrong configuration. Next we uninstalled the add-on and installed it again. JIRA has saved the configuration someplace and the Add-on still cannot be started.

We had to set our virtual machine to the last snapshot. (It was on our test system.)

Our problem is solved (caused by DNS resolving problems).

But are there any configuration files in the local JIRA installation directory? So we can configure the add-on manually?

We don't want to have this problem on the production system.

Hey Marco.

I'm not aware of any local configuration files on JIRA. It does have some information about the add-ons, but they are barely informational.

The add-ons basically are custom jar files provided by third party.

hope this helps
