JIRA agile Vs Jira software?

hi all,

my company is looking to move from our current JIRA + agile add-on to JIRA software. I looked at the release notes but I cannot see any outstanding features with JIRA software that could help our Agile teams.

How should go about looking for this information?

This is not technically the "right" answer, but it's more good enough to tell you what you need to know.

Think of JIRA Software as being the (fully compatible) replacement for the retiring JIRA Agile.  As far as it matters to most people, Software is the next version, with a new name.

JIRA 6.4 went out of support this week, meaning JIRA Agile is ended as well.  To be supported, you'll need to move to JIRA 7 (with JIRA Software) anyway.
