JIRA performance issue

Hello,

We have JIRA Build Enterprise Edition, Version: 3.13.5 with MSSQL database at separate server in our company.

All worked fine, but after JIRA migrate to new server, we faced strange issues with operations.

Browsing JIRA fine, but when someone pushing button "Resolve Issue", "Close issue", etc. there are some delays ~5 seconds.

I checked logs and found following lines:

http-80-Processor25 ERROR [event.listeners.mail.InProgressListener] java.sql.SQLException: Network error IOException: Connection timed out: connect

I do not have a lot experience with JIRA administration. So need help.

Hi Enzo,

This problem is occurring because JIRA is not being able to connect on the database. Try to move the database to the same server as JIRA and check if the problem persist.

In advance, JIRA 3.13 is no longer supported since 2011, so please upgrade it to a newer version (currently is 6.0.7) as soon as possible. Many bugs has been fixed since 3.13.
