Jira Automation: Display or hide field B based on option selected in field A

Is it possible to hide or display a custom field on a screen based on the option selected in another custom field using Jira Automation?

For example, I have custom field named Primary Owner with a few specific internal teams as options, and then also one option named External Vendor, so if the user selects External Vendor, then I want to display a text field named External Vendor, so the user can manually enter the name of the external vendor.  If the user selects one of the specific internal teams, then the External Vendor field remains hidden by default.

I have configured this field behavior before using ScriptRunner, but our current customer instance does not have the ScriptRunner plugin, so was hoping I could do something similar using Jira Automation, although I know this is more of a field behavior, than a field automation.

I am afraid to say Automation for Jira in Datacenter doesn't have an advanced feature that will handle your request.

You are looking for dynamic fields. I wish we have it in DC.
