Just a heads up: On March 24, 2025, starting at 4:30pm CDT / 21:30 UTC, the site will be undergoing scheduled maintenance for a few hours. During this time, the site might be unavailable for a short while. Thanks for your patience.
×With the Jira 8.0 update, there are batch notifications. Yay!
From the Release Notes it's only for a single issue, though. Is there a way currently, or any plans that you know about to batch notifications for multiple issues? So if multiple issues are edited during a meeting or in a say 10 minute time-block, the watchers would only get a single email for all issues that were updated?
Thanks in advanced!
Hey Kelsey,
Not a native option, but we support scheduled emails in Notification Assistant for Jira. You can configure these to go to the recipients of your choice like Watchers, and run every 10 minutes, with a JQL like
updated > -10m
Okay, that stinks there's no native option currently.
Do you know if Atlassian is looking into adding more custom, native controls to future releases?
