Hi,
We are examening the possibilitys to run Jira / Confluence Datacenter in the cloud on Azure. We use Azure because of company policys. Now I see that Atlassian is promoting Amazons AWS for datacenter.
What are the difference beween implementation Jira/ Confluence on Microsoft Azure and on Amazon AWS ?
Can I expect problems when we use Microsoft Azure ? If so what are the do's and don'ts ?
Thanks
Ben
(By the way, we don't wanna use Atlassian cloud Jira/ Confluence, it must be datacenter !)
Hi @ben Pittens
AWS was the first cloud provider officially supported.
AZURE is now officially supported as you can see here:
https://www.atlassian.com/enterprise/data-center/azure
That being said both platforms are good options to deploy your datacenter apps.
cheers.
Thanks, Carlos, then we will go for Jira/Confluence datacenter on Azure.
cheers

Hi Ben,
Did you go with Jira/Confluence datacenter on Azure. If so what user directories did you configure as i think you can't configure LDAP as it is hosted on the cloud.
Thank you.
