Hello,
I am trying to show Time Tracking/ Time Spent per Component on a project dashboard. Is there a way to do it with one Jira Gadget?
Thank you,
Elif
Hi Elif,
Which version of Jira are you running? Additionally, if you do not select a filter, are you able to see all the fields?
Regards,
Javier A.
We are running "Atlassian JIRA Project Management Software v7.5.0 . Yes, i can see all the default fields , please see the attached screen shot below.
Thank you for your help.

Hi Elif,
It's rather unusual that the gadget is not showing you the other fields. As this plugin is not made by Atlassian, I recommend opening a ticket with the vendor. They will have a better understanding of the gadget and can determine why only one field is appearing in the dropdown.
Here is their link to support page: Timesheet plugin for Jira
If they provide you a solution, please let us know and update this ticket so we can assist others that run into this issue.

Hi Elif,
You should be able to change the Group by Field value to Component
In your filter, are you able to see these fields within the Issue Navigator? Additionally, could you try another browser to see if you are able to modify the Group by Field value

@Javi ,
I am able to see all the default fields including component/s within the Issue Navigator. Tried another browser and it did not work either. All I have is " None and Assignee". See below.
This is the filter I am using which works fine within the Issue Navigator;
project = it and timespent is not EMPTY and component is not EMPTY and created >= -30d

Hi Elif,
You can use the Time Sheet gadget to display work logged on issues. Additionally, you can base the results on a JQL filter that specifies the components and project you wish to display
Ex:
component in (ALPHA, BETA) AND project = "IT"
With the gadget, you can also group by component so you can see a total amount of time logged per component.
Alternatively, you might be interested in plugins such as the Time Tracking And Billing Reporting plugin or the Time Tracking Stats for Jira plugin.
These plugins provide more functionality and customization in comparison to the gadget within Jira

@Javi, I am not able to add any fields other than Assignee to the Time Sheet Gadget. Do you know, additional fields or group by field sections are editable?
Thanks!
