Hi ALL,
We are using Jira 7.3.8 and want issue to be exported in html format for purpose of archiving the old issue in static html file.
Please let us know the how we can achieve i dint find option to export in HTML format option, if its available in this Jira version can you please let us know the step to enable it .
task is too archive all issue older that six months there are more 25 thousand issues
HTML isn't the best format for archiving, as you will lose important details of the issues, like the attached files. PDF much better suits this use case, they even have a special variant called PDF/A for archiving purposes.
PDF View Plugin can export Jira to PDF documents that can capture absolutely every detail of the issues, including even the attachments!
See more info on the app or more samples.
Any Idea how I can enable HTML export as it does not show in our Jira Version
Other better way to archive so that user in future can at least view the issues
PDF Plugin has license for which my manager would not go .
