Jira Portfolio - How to manage permissions

Hi There,

We are in the process of upgrading our Portfolio plugin from v2.24 to 3.14. Currently in our instance the plug-in permission access is being managed by via active directory groups and we need to find out the more efficient ways to manage access to the plug-in.

One solution is to allow the "jira-users" group to access the plug-in thereby allowing all users to access the plug-in. But, we want to understand the impact of this change.

Can you please guide how should we go about changing the permissions to jira-users group? Best practices for permissions?
