Jira Search - Type 'Test' is not a valid for your current project selection

Hi We are using Jira XRay for test management. When I use search issues and select Type Test it show noting and warning says 'type test is not a valid for your current project selection' but we have Test Type as issue in our project configuration and created 1000+, still Test type is not a valid for your current project; Please assist.

Hi Sam, please find the error snapshot. We have Test Type in our project and its lists in issue type also but give error.

When searching, do you have a project selected in the 'Project' selector, or is it set to 'All'?

Adding Advance search: project = BS AND issuetype = Test

It's not returning any results.

Are the 1000+ tests you mentioned in the BS project? Also, what returns when you search just on issuetype = Test without a project selected?

Hi Christina, all the 1000+ test are from BS project only and its lists test type also in issue type in search issue.

Nothing returned if I remove project and select type test
