I'm using the "Jira Server for Slack" integration. I'm wondering if there is any ability to automate linking a dedicated channel via some automation like an API call.

Second question, is there any way to auto archive these channels when jira issues are closed?

Hi @Mike Hoyle

There are some third party apps for Slack that can potentially do this - take a look at Jirio and Chatlio.

Chatlio - will create embedded web form and link it to Slack.

Jirio - will integration Jira with Slack.

Take a look at them.
