Jira User Creation - REST API

Hello All,

I had directed this question to support but they have redirected me here.

We are trying to automate the user creation process in Jira. Currently we set users up manually and by the looks of it this shouldn't be that difficult using the REST API (Which i am no expert with).

I don't suppose anyone has came across this before? We ideally want the script to create a new user with the fields in the image below. Populating the entries will be fine but would someone have a JIRA REST API script that can fulfill this purpose?

If anyone does have a script that does this available or can point me in the right direction it will be much appreciated :)
