Jira compatibility with Oracle 18c database

Hi All,

Is Jira compatible with Oracle 18c database? We are currently using Jira v7.10.1 and would like to know if the database can be upgraded to Oracle 18c.

Are higher versions of Jira compatible with Oracle 18c database?

HI Srimanta,

Per our Jira Supported Platforms page, Oracle 12c is the supported version for Jira.

In addition:

• Jira will not work on Oracle Advanced Compression Option (ACO)
• Supported Oracle databases use the 12.2.0.1 driver listed here.

There is a feature request for 18c support, if you would like to vote on it and comment for your use case.
