Jira not writing to atlassian-jira.log

Hello,

We are troubleshooting an issue that is occurring when installing an add-on. The developer has requested the atlassian-jira.log file for review. Our log file was last written to over a month ago, and I have noticed that in system info, this appears:

Location of atlassian-jira.log Could not find atlassian-jira.log.

We can pull the log manually from the server, but Jira seems to have lost its link to the log. It looks like the Log Analyzer is not able to find it, neither does the add-on Log Tailer.

Any help would be appreciated.

I discovered our issue. We followed this confluence article to resolve it.

However, the log still isn't being written to.

A restart of the instance resolved the log being written to, after following the previous steps.
