Jira quickfilters on a Kanban board are applied in an "AND" relationship. Can that be changed to OR?

When I choose multiple Quick Filters on a Jira Kanban board, they are applied in an "AND" relationship, i.e. only issues matching both  filters are returned. Can that be changed to an OR relationship, so that issues matching either filter are returned?

For example, I have five filters for LOCATION = each of NY, London, Mumbai, Shanghai, Tokyo

I would like to see users in Mumbai, Shanghai, or Tokyo, but not the others. 

How can I do that without creating a new filter?

You can't switch it to an or and unfortunately will need to create a new filter.
