LabelCFtype - JQL - Search for empty

I just create a Custom Field of type Label in my JIRA. I'm trying to do a search with the JQL syntax "my_custom_label_field is empty" and none results are displayed.

I did some tests like "my_custom_label_field is not empty" and it worked.

With main Label field (not custom one), searching "Labels is empty" is working too.

Did I miss something ?

Hi Alexandre,

I managed to reproduce this issue on our test instance, by adding new labels custom field and following the steps you describe.

However, after reindexing the instance and doing the same JQL search, "my_custom_label_field is empty" returned results as expected.

Can you try reindexing the instance and see if it works for you?

I ask my admin to do it and as you write, it's working fine now.
