License of Plug-ins

Hi Everyone,

We have this plug-in at JIRA where we don't want to renew the license and just wait for its expiration. It is a paid plug-in.

If we don't renew the license, will this plug-in still work?

In the documentation of JIRA, what I understood is that host licenses will still work even if the license is not renewed. Will it be the same scenario for plug-ins?

We are hosting our own JIRA.

The plugins are expected to bahave the way you described. If your license is expired, the plugin must continue to work, but you will not have support and you will not be able to install a new version. But I met plugins, which stopped working after the license expired. You d better ask the vendor of the plugin.

Addition to @Alexey Matveev's answer. other than plugins which stops working after licence expire; it remains working until the plugin version get unsupported to your JIRA version.
