Limit historical timesheet creation

Is it possible to limit the creation of Tempo Timesheets? We just realized that when an account is created for a new user it does not restrict that user to only day-forward data entry; the user could (don't ask me why they would) enter time for a seemingly limitless period back before they were even employed. Is there a way to prevent this pre-employment period creation or is this simply a matter of telling the users not to do that?

Hi there. It is possible to prevent this scenario using a feature called "periods" in Tempo Timesheet.

This requires some configuration and it may not be suitable to implement given your specific business processes. Read more here:
