Linking issues and viewability

Hi

i was wondering if anyone has any ideas on linking issues  or add ons that would work well. my use for this is we have contracts and each contract has multi orders, each order may be a different size and the contract is open until we fill the contract quantity. so i would like to be able to search by contracts, all shipments are linked to it and have the ability to see the number of shipments in total that have been applied to the contract.
