Links to Jira from confluence does not work after Migration ( new URLs)

hello,

i made a Migration of my Jira and Confluence instances with a new URLs for both.,the migration was Done correctly .now my question is how can i update my links inside both instances to use the new URLs. i know that i can make just a redirect on my reverse proxy, but here my issue is that i want to correct the URLs on my pages (before clicking on the links) because once i click i guess that the redirect will do the Job.

so how can i correct the links on both instances to make them display the correct links (with new URLs) not with the old onces, i I thought that jira and confluence will update those links automatically based on the BASE_URL but i see that it was not the case, is there any method that i can use to update those links ?

thanks

Hi,

There isn't a way to edit an existing application link within Jira or Confluence User Interfaces.  The recommendation would typically be to delete your existing application links from both sides and then recreate them with the new URLs.

However if you would prefer, you could try to edit the databases of each application to use different value here.

Please note that these direct SQL changes are not supported by Atlassian.  Which is why we recommend that you create a backup of both databases and stop each app before trying to make sure changes directly if you do plan to use this method.

Regards,

Andy
