I am working on a worklfow that requires 3+ levels of approval. I was asked if I can display and report on approval activity (who & when) so that the approver can easily see the history of an issue. I can see the need to only show the approvers and dates they approved, and also store all transition activity.
Any tips on best way to capture this for reporting?
You can also create a Scriptrunner scripted field which looks at the history and determines who did the approvals. I did something similar a few years ago to create a script field which displays who last changed a particular custom field.
This approach, like the JMCF Transition caller and Transition Date/Time suggested by David, has the advantage of working for approvals which happened prior to implementing your changes.
