Hi guys,
Could use some advice. One of our teams is very interested in finding a robust Document Change Management solution.
Currently the Change Managmement flow is handled by a JIRA workflow. The Confluence asset (whether it is a Page, Document, an attachment (of any stripe), etc is locked down manually via the Arsenal Lockpoint Plugin.
The problem is the lack of integration between the Change Management workflow in JIRA and the Confluence assets that are being created/reviewed/approved/locked.
I'm thinking of leveraging something like Perforce, and tie both JIRA and Confluence into it. Anyone have plugins or general recommendations? For whatever reason, GIT is not popular at my new company, but many are familiar with Perforce.
Did you consider the Documents for JIRA add-on? Have a look at https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.stonikbyte.jira.plugins.project-docs-plugin/server/overview.
