Migrating database from Oracle10g to 11g

Currently we are using the database oracle 10g. We are planning to do the migration of oracle10g to 11g. Will this create any cause/error in JIRA?

Hi Ramachandiran,

Another advice is when you use Oracle 11G you should use Oracle 11.2.x driver. Further questions about Supported Platforms you can check out on this link.

This won't cause any issues for JIRA, but you will need to follow these instructions for migrating JIRA between databases: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Switching+Databases
