Minimum Fields for Creating a Jira Issue Programmatically

Does the following fields mandatory for creating a Jira Issue programmitically or there could be more fields that will be configured.

IssueType

Absolute minumum - Project, Issue Type and Summary. Description is NOT mandatory.

However, Jira is configurable, and often set up to demand more than that (for example, Description...). So, one, many or all other fields available *might* be required. It depends on what you have set up and how.
