When I Move an issue, the presented screen has the field order upside down.
For example, the field view shows
Actual
Expected
Steps to Reproduce
I want the view to show
Steps to Reproduce
Expected
Actual
Where can I configure this screen?
On the Create Issue screen, the fields are in the correct order.
Thanks,
Jason
The move issue screens are not configurable.
This is because, moving issues should not happen often, so the screens don't get used much. If you're regularly moving issues, your process is a bit broken.
Hi Nic,
Thanks for that.
The Move issue is very rarely used, so it is not a big issue.
As a matter of interest, do you know how the Move screen selects the order of the field in the first place?

Last time I paid attention, it was simply alphabetic.

I disagree.
In our use case we initially will need to use it fairly frequently.
And it's an issue using cascading dropdown fields if they are not in the correct order.
Issues create via incoming email request being assign a issue type based on keywords in the email subject.
So if we cannot determine the Issue Type we set it to "Uncategorized" and an Agent will have to manually move it depending on the email content.
This seems like something basic that can be implemented.
Currently is seems that fields are shown on Move Issue screen in order of field creation (ordered by it's ID)
