Move Issues to Closed Sprint

Pleas let me know how can I move issues from current sprint to closed sprint.

Hello @[deleted] , 

Step1: Goto Reports --> Sprint Report --> Get the sprint id from the URL (1000)

https://yourinstanceurl/jira/secure/RapidBoard.jspa?rapidView=955&projectKey=PROJJ&view=reporting&chart=sprintRetrospective&sprint=1000

Step2: From sprint report click on "View in Issue navigator"

Step3: Click on ... --> Tools --> Bulk Change --> Choose the issues you like to change --> Edit Issues --> Change Sprint --> Add the sprint id from above url (1000) --> Scroll down (uncheck Send mail for this update) --> Next --> Confirm

Note: Make sure "Sprint" Field is enabled on your edit screen

Related question, we have seen velocity reports that show items from a different sprint show up occasionally, yet a search by sprint ID does not display any items. Have you seen this happening?

I tried this approach on Aug 21, 2024 and it works.

but somehow this approach is not working now.

Does anyone have another solution to achieve this goal with another approach?
