Notify issue owners about their bugs

We have created a script for the Bugzilla which is notified owners about their bugs. The mentioned operation is performed on the group of bugs (e.g. for the current release version, etc ...).

Is it possible to perform the mentioned operation on JIRA?

Hi Hakob, if you want to notify to the bug reporter the changes that the bug has you just need to configure the notification scheme. It's pretty easy to do, use the first link Bhushan gave to see what kind of notifications you can configure.

Yes it is possible. What you are looking for is notification schemes and Subscription to Filters.
