Plugin is not wrapped in iframe

I have created a simple web panel with shows up on right bar of view issue page. 

Plugin is inserted in native dom tree of Jira. Is this the same way it is going to run in production or will be wrapped inside iframe?

Yes,

Your web-work, web-section, web-item and every other components adding into atlassian.xml will be inserted in to native DOM tree.
