Hi, I have a structure with the hierarchy initiative - epic - story.
One one initiative, the total of story points is 460, and for one epic all stories are complete with a total of 32 story points.
I have structure with a formula column with progress based on story points, where status "Closed" counts as 100%, all others as 0%. The epic with the closed stories is correctly shown as 100%, all others as 0%.
However, the progress on epic level is 3%, but 32 divided by 460 should result in 7%.
I checked the progress calculations on epic level, they are correct, but there seems to be a problem on initiative level.
Hi @Martin Härri ,
To work out what may be happening, we will need to take a closer look at your current hierarchy and calculated column settings.

I have escalated the question to the IT support of my company and they forwarded it to Structure support. Here's their response, in case some other users of this forum are interested:
"The Progress column calculation logic there is not as straightforward as it may seem because issues are weighted by Story Points. The tricky part here is with issues that have no Story Points - in this case, Structure calculates the average Story Points value, assigns it to such issues and then aggregates the overall Progress. That's why progress ends up being less than you might expect.
We recommend to set Weight: All Sub-issues Are Equal in the progress column's configuration. This should give you the expected value."
I checked, and it does not give me the expected value. I am now looking for alternative solutions.
