Hi folks - we're experimenting with Project Configurator for Jira, looking for a way to move a bunch of Jira projects from one instance to another.
When we run the Integrity Checkers, it's reporting hundreds of issues with missing users - people who have left the company but who are still listed as owning a filter or included in a permission scheme or mentioned in a workflow. The tool won't let us get past the errors.
The projects we're trying to move work fine in the current instance, and it looks like we're in for a lot of risky work to try to expunge the old users from everywhere.
Can those errors be ignored? Is there a way to tell Project Configurator to be lenient?
Hi Dave,
Thank you for your question.
I can confirm that unfortantetly it is not possible to skip users which no longer exist when running a migration due to the fact that Jira will not allow configuration to be created which is owned by a user who no longer exists.
