Hi
Has anyone experienced this issue where the Project Type (i.e. Software, Business etc.) does not display on the Project List via View all Projects or Global Project List. The column is there but only the icon appears and not the name.
I am testing JIRA V8.3.1 in our Dev environment , Server instance.
Thanks
Hello @Kasturee
You are on server or cloud?
Because on Cloud I notice that column display the text and icon both for Project type. But on server (7.13) I can see only the icon and not the name of the project type in the project type column
Yes, in Cloud and Server we have different view this column. Icons in Server, Icons + name in Cloud

Hello @Kasturee
it's not a bug on server rather a feature request.
Here's the open ticket about it, feel free to vote on it. And if any answer helped you then please accept/upvote so that others are also helped. Thanks.

This doesn't make sense if a feature worked in an older version of JIRA Server that added value but has now been removed in latter versions

Hi,
Are you sure then you have different project type? Also, maybe you can not have permission to view another projects

We only use Software and Service Desk Projects in our organisations. I am a JIRA Admin with global Admin permissions so I can view all Projects.
We use V7.5.1 on Prod and this displays correctly. We are testing the latest version to upgrade.
