×I currently have a production Jira server, and I've set up a staging Jira server to test the upgrade to the latest version. In the production environment, there are existing application links connecting to other applications such as Bitbucket and Confluence. My question is, when configuring application links in the staging server, can I use the same URLs for Bitbucket, Confluence, etc., as in the production environment? Your guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Hi,
Probably not. URLs are unique links to specific sites. If you put a production link into a test system, then that test system may do things in production that you do not want.
You should use the URLs for the test instances of your systems, not the production ones.
