My company has a Jira Cloud integration with HubSpot CRM.
Specifically, we have this enabled: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jiracorecloud/activating-your-jira-cloud-integration-for-hubspot-950810531.html
In Jira, in the lower right-hand section (right panel), there is a CRM integration that displays the company and company contact information.
The way this integration works is that when creating an issue, Jira and HubSpot "speak" and if there is a HubSpot user that matches the user in the "Reporter" field in Jira, it adds that person as the company and company contact under the CRM heading.
This is causing a problem for us because we use the reporter field to document who the internal reporter is (i.e. the employee who documented the customer's concern) so that if the Dev team has questions, they know who to go to. We'd like to use the CRM integration w/ HubSpot to document who the customer is.
So, I have two questions:
1. Is there a way to stop the integration from pulling the company / contact from the Reporter field
2. Is there a way to use a jquery in Jira to search that field / integration?
