×I have a multiselect list custom field that one of my users wants to add 10,000 options to.
I already know I could import that many options but my question revolves around the performance impact this would put on our instance. I am certain that having a list with 10,000 options would cause some performance problems with our instance as well as increase the loading time of their page.
My question is, is there a way we could have field where the list of options is populated by a REST call instead of pre-populated, similar to the way that labels is populated.
I know there are some plugins that pull from databases.
ScriptRunner and Behaviors might be able to do this

10,000 options is too much, you are better of using labels.
