Hi,

We have following case
Bugs get filed with a description containing an identifier which resembles a JIRA key

When the user tries to find that particular bug (using the JIRA alike identifier) through the quick search facility, he gets a 'issue not found'.

Is there a search modifier for the quick search, which allows to search on description ?

Francis

Hi Francis,

You can enclose your search term in quotes. E.g. if you want to find mentions of JRA-1234 in description and not issue JRA-1234 you search for "JRA-1234".

It works for me in both v4.2.2 and v4.3.4.
