AD User System Administrator no permission

Hello,

we added LDAP user directory to our fresh installed jira software. The sync is fine and working. All our users are listed in jira with their memberships.

a couple of users are members of a AD group called 1001SW_JIRA_Administor. This group was added to the Jira System Administrators in the global permission section, right underneath the jira-administrators group.

Now, my users are able to login with their AD account but they don't have permission to get access to the system settings. They can only reach their projects.

What did I miss?

My problem still persists. Only users of the internal jira db are having system admin access. Any suggestions?

Do you SYNC internal directories(Under user management) after these changes you have made and try to access the system settings

there is no sync button for internal directories. I successfully synced the Active Directory several times and rebooted the server once... just to be sure ;-)
