Suren, I have experienced this as well. It seems to go away eventually but I have not been able to isolate the cause

Can we know if it's happening on all or specific dashboard? We can see the system dashboard activity stream working fine.
Can you try to click refresh and see if there any changes?

It was occuring for a specific dashboard but that is just becuase I only had 1 customer report the probelm. It does appears to have cleared up at this point. Refresh did help. It seems to be periodic
