Activity stream Language in Project Dashboard

I am seeing Activity Stream in Project Summary in Spanish for all the Projects in JIRA. Where as if i create a New Dashboard and add Activity Stream gadget, there I'm seeing the options in English.

How to change the language of Activity Stream in Project summary.

I tried disabling the Activity Stream Plug-in in Systems and Enabled it..but no luck.

Any suggestions are much appreciated.

• Did you notice this after an upgrade or other change to JIRA?
• Is this Cloud or Server?  If this is Server, what version of JIRA are you using?
• What is the default language in JIRA?
• What is the Computer system's default language?
• What is your language set to in your profile?

I have seen a bug that affected JIRA but the issue was for Japanese characters showing up.  Let me know the answers to the above questions and we'll go from there.

Activity Stream is displaying fine if I add in a new dashboard, Only issue in the Project Summary Activity Stream.

In the user profile screen for an English user, I have started to see an activity stream in Russian.

My language and the system default are set to English.

We do have Russian users on our instance, which may not be a coincidence.

Hello All,

Jira 7.11 Server Version had English mixed up with German on Activity Stream.

I've restarted the plug-in and it worked.

Hi all,

We've got same issue. However we've been manage to solve it in Dashboard as we disable / enable Activity core plug-in.

However Activity stream in tickets continue to show different languages on timestamps. 

Jira version v7.6.8. 

Issue occure when installing Tempo Budget and updating Tempo Planning, Timesheet plugins. 

Also clear the plugin cache. 

Any advises?

Rebooting jira is at least feasible option.

We had the same issue on 6.3 - in May-2018 we upgraded to JIRA v7.9.2 and it seemed OK. However, we now have users again complaining of same issue. They login in English (default language code) and they see activity stream in German.

Any updates on this issue?

We have the same issue, the language is French while we set English as default language both on Jira and Windows.

We updated Jira software to 7.4.5 about 1 month ago. I checked the old version of Jira, the language is fine in the Activity Stream.

Hope someone can help me with this issue.
