Add Modify Delete Activity stream using Java API or REST API

Do we have such a functionality which can control activity stream of an user via Java API or REST API?

Right now I have the same question as Onkar and ravi, but we want to do it through the Java API, not REST. Can someone give us an answer to help us?

i was looking for the same answer and its been long i could find one . can you please provide me with the rest api to fetch the activity stream of my JIRA server instance.
