Add attachment to a Confluence page with Jira post function

Kevin Klesz April 14, 2019

Hello,

I would like to add the attachments of an Issue in Jira to a corresponding Confluence page via a post function script. I already managed to create the confluence page itself using Scriptrunner post function, and also added some macros, but unfortunately I am still unable to add any Attachments.

I already read through multiple community posts, but none of them helped my in fixing my problem. I am thankful for any tips or advice on how to solve my problem.

Best Regards

Kevin

HI @Kevin Klesz ,

Since you mentioned about ScriptRunner, could you please let us know if you would like to use ScriptRunner to publish/add attachment(s) to a Confluence page or something else?

At the same time, could you please share the code you have used in attempt to add an attachment to Confluence, so we can review it and collaborate on the solution?

For the time being, you could read attachment(s) from a Jira Issue by following https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Marketplace-Apps-questions/Scripted-field-to-read-linked-attachment-reads-too-many/qaq-p/601932

Ad publish attachment to a Confluence page using https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Marketplace-Apps-questions/Add-Attachment-to-Confluence-page/qaq-p/8518

Kind regards,
Rafael
