Is it possible to add a calendar/timeline to the JIRA Board so not only it shows the progress of the task, but also the timeline/date as well? I looked at the Roadmap which shows a calendar view, but I'm only able to filter by category vs showing the category as a row. Or is it possible to show the date/timeline on the Board as a row? And keep the Category as columns?
Thanks!
Thank you @Rathesh Richards @Carlos Garcia Navarro for both of your insights. I've included 2 illustrations below. Is it possible to map the progress of the project vs the timeline?
Hi @nycmixing
What are you trying to achieve with the roadmap? What do you mean by category?
Are you trying to see epics across a timeline grouped by a theme/category? e.g. "Q1-2023" or "Customer Requests"?

Hi @nycmixing ,
I'm not sure.I understand. Do you want to have swimlanes on the board that correspond to certain dates (e.g. due date)? If so, you could configure swimlanes on the board using JQL queries that use date functions: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/configure-swimlanes/
Would that work?

Based on your spreadhseet, If you want to see it on a Jira board, you could do something similar to the top of the table by creating swimlanes based on queries (https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/configure-swimlanes/), using advanced time functions (https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/advanced-search-reference-jql-functions/)
