Adding Users to Groups Automatically Jira 6.08

On Jira 6.08, how do I configure automatically adding users created through LDAP to JiraUsers & to another group?

I see in the documentation about "Default Group Memberships", but I can't find this field.

Hi Lynn,

Just add your groups to JIRA USER in Administration -> Global Permission.

Hi Lynn,

I am trying to approach this with Microsoft Active Directory and using the model of having LDAP drive all my user access and group permissions. Are we on the same page or are you just trying to set up an LDAP authentication and JIRA will drive group permissions?
