Adding links to other issues

Hi all,

Got a design for a new project, and before we create it I just wanted to check something.

The project will be open for anyone to raise and approve work, however once it is approved the issue will be "view only" except for one person/group.

If this is the case, can links still be made between that issue and others - ie you don't have to have edit permissions on a job to add a link to it using issue links?

Hi,

You don't need the "edit permission" to link issues

But you need the "browse" and "link issue" on both project if you are linking issues from 2 projects.

I hope it answers your question,

Cheers,

Mathieu

Hi @John Wood

Yes you should be able to add links to it later.
