Admin Password

Hi, I asked myself what happens when crowd can't connect to ldap anymore, how do I login then?

I can't create / change the password of an admin user which can login without ldap connection pool. Is there a real local admin in crowd? If so, how can I change the password of this account?

You should create a local admin in the JIRA internal directory. That way you'Re not dependant on the LDAP connection!

Hi, thanks for your reply. I have already done this because it was my first idea,too. However there is a huge bug in crowd I think because I cant login with any credentials of the local dic. They are configured right and the login-tester of crowd says: "allowed to authenticate" or so. I am writing with the atlassian support atm regarding this bug.
Nevertheless it is poor that there is no real admin account...
